Fine-line tattoo, micro-realism tattoo, geometric, narrative design
Hi, I’m Miki, a tattoo artist based in Vancouver, BC.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, I moved to Vancouver in 2005. Since I was young, I’ve always felt passionate about art and design — creating and expressing myself in different ways.
In 2020, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to start learning tattooing — and it opened up a whole new world for me. My background working with precision tools as a microblading artist naturally led me to love fine-line tattooing a style that allows for incredibly detailed, minimalistic tattoos that feel both subtle and timeless.
Tattooing has become more than just a craft for me — it’s a way to connect with people, tell stories, and create something meaningful that stays with them forever.
“Tattoos that flow with your body and stay with your life.”
Over the past 5 years, my passion has grown from doing small and dainty tattoos to taking on more intricate and skilled projects like micro-realism — making tattoos look alive with textures, depth, and detail in a small-scale design. I especially love working on animal tattoos — capturing their life and spirit in a tiny piece of skin art.
I’m also drawn to geometric tattoos — I love how perfect lines and shapes can connect different elements together, bringing balance and harmony to the design.
More importantly, I’m deeply drawn to narrative tattoos — designs that tell a story, capture a memory, or represent something meaningful. I believe tattoos are more than art on skin — they are symbols of who we are, where we’ve been, and what we carry with us.
